Základ skladby tvoří duet (či duel) sitáru a osmibitového počítače Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Ve "slokách" generuje ZX Spectrum algoritmicko-stochastické melodické sekvence a hráč na sitár volně improvizuje. V "refrénech" mají hrát oba nástroje spolu unisono předgenerovanou melodii. Ta však byla pro hráče na sitár příliš nezvyklá a on ji nebyl schopen hrát bez chyb, což vytvářelo žádoucí napětí. Monotonní doprovodný drone byl hraný na syntetizéry. Zbytek kapely vydával v kuchyni různé zvuky. Vše se nahrávalo najednou, v reálném čase, bez oprav. Tabla, hlas a nějaké zvuky byly doplněny po dvaceti letech.
Algorithmic-stochastic duet for sitar and Sinclair ZX Spectrum computer.
The core of the piece is a duet (or a duel) of a sitar player and a ZX Spectrum 8-bit computer. In "verses" the ZX Spectrum generates stochastic-algorithmic sequences and the sitar plays a free improvisation. In "refrains" both the ZX and the sitar should play one fixed algorithmically pre-generated melody in unison. The melody was too unfamiliar for the sitar player, so he was unable to play it easily and without mistakes. It made a nice tension. The background drone was played on synths. The rest of the group was making noises in the kitchen. All in the real-time, in one take. Tabla, voice and some more noises were overdubbed after 20 years, when the song was finalized for publishing.
